Our Beginning
Dance Tone Fitness officially launches January 2026 in Oakville, Ontario — our first location in what will soon be a growing community of studios across the GTA.
We’ll be adding new locations in Burlington, Mississauga, and Etobicoke later in 2026 as our community expands.
This first chapter is the start of something new — a fitness experience built around joy, movement, and music.
What is Dance Tone Fitness?
Dance Tone Fitness combines two things we all crave — fitness and fun.
Each 45-minute class blends cardio, music, and laughter with simple, repeatable moves set to upbeat music from the 1960’s through to current pop. You’ll learn fresh steps all the time, so there’s zero boredom and no pressure to be perfect — just rhythm, sweat, and smiles.
Who Can Join!
Everyone! Our classes welcome all fitness levels and every kind of mover — from total beginners to seasoned dancers.
If you love grooving to great music — at a party, in your kitchen, or anywhere — you already belong here.
Why Dance Tone Fitness?
Because working out shouldn’t feel like work.
At Dance Tone Fitness, our primary objective is joy not accuracy! You’ll be so busy moving to the beat that you’ll barely notice you’re building stamina, strength, and confidence.
Who operates Dance Tone Fitness?
Meet Jacqueline Curtis — the same powerhouse who founded My Pop Choir in 2011, a group of community based pop & rock choirs for people who have no to minimal choir experience, and without the need to read music, or audition. (www.mypopchoir.com)[JC1]
Jacqueline wanted to create the same idea for dance fitness: no experience, no judgement, no auditions, just safe & community-driven fun with great benefits!
Her vision was to “sneak exercise into life without it feeling like… exercise!” Dance Tone Fitness is her answer: a mash-up of dance moves from a variety of styles to great rhythms: experiencing sheer joy that tricks you into working out while you’re busy having fun.
